Exotic pets can decline quickly, and they often need a different approach than general ERs. We provide exotic-focused triage, treatment, and select procedures for rabbits, birds, small mammals, reptiles, and amphibians—primarily on weekends and select nights.

If your pet isn’t eating, seems weak, is breathing differently, has sudden swelling, bleeding, or injury—timing matters. We prioritize stabilizing your pet, reducing pain and stress, and identifying the most likely causes so we can start the right treatment quickly.
Not eating / decreased appetite
Weakness, lethargy, collapse
Fast or labored breathing
Injury/trauma (falls, bites, fractures)
Bleeding or sudden swelling
Straining to urinate/defecate/lay eggs
Severe pain or abnormal posture
Neurologic concerns (head tilt, seizures)
We can often help with urgent cases when capacity allows. If your pet needs advanced hospitalization beyond our safe limits that day, we’ll tell you quickly and help direct you to an appropriate facility.

When scheduling allows, we also offer limited preventive services—often during off-hours—so exotic owners have access to experienced care beyond emergencies.
Rabbit spay/neuter (discount program) (limited slots)
Rabbit vaccines (as appropriate/available)
Basic wellness exams and preventive guidance
Availability is limited—contact us to request scheduling.
